A couple of weeks ago I did a blog share with a lovely gentleman named Jonathan. Jonathan and I met on set of a print ad I was a model for. He was working for the photographer, and somehow we started talking about food, then blogs.
It went a little like this:
“You have a food blog too!?! No way!” said I.
“Yeah, my girlfriend is a chef and I take the photos”, say’s Jonathan.
“That’s so cooooooool!”, me again : )
“We should do a blog share. You cook, and I’ll photograph!”
He’s carnivorous, so I felt I had to make something special to introduce him to the beauty of vegan cuisine. It needed to be delicious, creative, filling and beautiful- so I made shiitake green garbanzo patties and served them over roasted carrots with an herb aioli. We picked the produce up at the Union Square Green Market, so everything was super duper fresh. I will definitely make these little patties again, they’re good!
Head over to Jonathan’s Bite Sized blog to find the recipe and read my post. Aren’t his photos
spectacular?! Photographer for my first book, maybe?
