Add the ingredients except lemon zest to a cocktail shaker without ice. Shake for a few seconds. Then add ice and shake vigorously for at least 10 seconds.
Strain and garnish with lemon zest and nutmeg.

Aquafaba is the liquid from a can of chickpeas, commonly used as an egg white replacement. This vegan and non-alcoholic version of a whiskey sour is just as frothy as the original! The aquafaba foams nicely once shaken.
