My Daily Green Juice is a fresh, energizing blend made with kale or collard greens, cucumber, fennel, parsley or cilantro, ginger, turmeric, and lemon. Lightly zesty, naturally low in sugar, and ready in under 10 minutes, it’s an easy way to add more greens to your day. For ease, cut the vegetables to fit your juicer's chute. My slow, cold-press juicer (the Omega 8006) has a small chute, so I prep the veggies accordingly.

Recipe Pro-Tips
Thoroughly wash or scrub everything. Rinse all produce well to remove any residue, dirt, or grime. Scrub ginger and turmeric thoroughly if you’re not peeling them.
Mind the prep. Cut the vegetables to fit your juicer’s chute. My slow, cold-press juicer (the Omega 8006) has a smaller chute, so I prep the veggies accordingly. You’ll also want to remove citrus peels, trim bruised spots and blemishes, and remove tough stems.
Be patient and don't force it. Let the juicer do the heavy lifting. Pushing or forcing ingredients through can strain the motor and reduce juice quality.
Alternate ingredients. Switching between softer produce (like greens and herbs) and firmer produce (such as cucumber and fennel) helps keep ingredients moving through the juicer and increases juice yield.
Start small, then adjust. If you’re new to juicing, go lighter with stronger-flavored ingredients like fennel or turmeric at first, then add more to taste.
